Hunter/Jumper Demonstration

Friday, April 26
Saturday, April 27

Coliseum Arena
  Hunter/Jumper Demonstration

Local hunter/jumper trainers, Kirsten Priebe and Tal Mizrahi, are very excited to demonstrate the Hunter/Jumper disciplines and inspire interested riders of all ages to give it a try! Kirsten and Tal own Wild Rose Stables in Webster MN. Wild Rose is a place for all levels of riders from beginners learning the basics of jumping, all the way to high level hunter and jumper competitors. Both Kirsten and Tal have a passion for bringing along young riders and horses to the highest levels of competition. All the horses they will be using in this demonstration are horses they started under saddle as youngsters or restarted after racing for the purpose of hunter/jumper competition. The demo will focus on the history of each discipline, how each discipline is judged, and of course end with a thrilling jumping demonstration using both competition hunter horses and jumper horses.

April 26, 27 and 28

Kids Jumping Course
11:00-4:00 Green Open Space near DNR Stage

Interested in knowing more about Hunters and Jumpers? Come visit us back at our booth in the grassy area by the DNR Stage, where we will have our very own miniature jumping competition. Kids will race through a pattern of jumps on foot and will be scored just like a jumper competition. The winners of each age group will receive prizes! Our info area will be staffed by knowledgeable Hunter/Jumper competitors and parents of competitors who will answer any questions you could have about getting started. Additional information available will include: contact info for local barns all over Minnesota that have hunter/jumper lesson programs, a list of local hunter/jumper competitions that are open to the public and brochures on the history and judging of both disciplines.

We are looking forward to sharing our sport with all who come to the MN Horse Expo!
