Now is the time to start getting ready! The Obstacle Challenge is a trail course on steroids that tests the partnership between a horse and rider while maneuvering through obstacles.

Where:
Friday and Saturday at the Compeer Arena. (Entrants must attend both days)

When:
 Approximately 6:00-8:00pm both days.

The horse/mule/donkey must be ridden in the competition.
Juniors may ride. All participants must sign a Minnesota Horse Expo Waiver.

There will be a novice and open division.

Open division – Experienced rider/horse that competes in trail classes.

Novice division – Horses that regularly do NOT compete in trail or obstacle shows, may be an experienced rider; may be in training to be trail horse. Entries are limited.

The course will be 8-10 obstacles, it is judged on a combination of speed and completion of the course.
It is timed and judged and includes a 15 second refusal rule on each obstacle.

This is a fun competition however there will be some awards to top competitors.

The Minnesota Horse Expo is well known for being a showcase of diverse horse breeds.
