Dr. Emily Rose

Dr. Emily Rose PT, DPT, CERP holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of
Wisconsin - Madison and is a Certified Equine Rehabilitation Practitioner from the University of
Tennessee - Knoxville.
Dr. Rose owns Reaching Strides Equine Rehabilitation LLC which offers Physical Therapy services from rehabilitation to performance improvement for both horse and rider in Wisconsin
and Florida. Emily also travels teaching workshops and clinics focused on preventative wellness and biomechanics for the sport horse and rider. She is an instructor for the University of Tennessee Equine Rehabilitation Certificate Program, recognized globally as the premier program in equine rehabilitation.
Dr. Rose is an active rider herself and competes in Dressage earning her USDF Silver and Bronze Medal
rider achievement awards. 
Dr. Rose and her husband, Ryan Rose, own and operate Rose Horsemanship Center, a full-service training and rehabilitation facility.

and how it helps your horse.

Learn what it means to activate your horse's core, how to do it, and why core strengthening is important
for the equine. This presentation will feature a demonstration of di%erent static and dynamic exercises
that engage the horse's core on the ground.

An Introduction to the Franklin Method for Equestrians: The Franklin  Method for Equestrians uses
imagery and feedback to improve our  awareness and, consequently, our riding skills. Join Dr. Emily
to learn about the Franklin Method for Equestrians and how it develops correct biomechanics for the
rider using feedback you can feel!

Activating Your Horse's Core in MOTION


This workshop will demonstrate techniques, exercises, and strategies to  engage your horse's core in
motion, whether under saddle or on the lunge  line. Come learn about dynamic postural stability to help improve your  horse's self-carriage and collection.

Understanding the Biomechanics of the Ridden Horse


Thoracic sling, sti0e stabilization, and topline development are all terms we  hear daily when developing
our horses' posture and mechanics under  saddle. Join Dr. Emily to learn correct biomechanics for the ridden horse, regardless of discipline, to better improve your partnership from head to tail.
