Flag Work with Cutting Horses
The conditioning and training of the cutting horse is
essential for competing. Part of the conditioning and training process is
called "flag work" or "mechanical cow" work. The
purpose of this training teaches the horse and rider about correct body
position and working together as a team. It is a tool used to
simulate working a live cow.
